Home Office Lighting

A home office or study needs good level of ambient light combined with task light for a desk area to prevent eye strain. If you are working on a computer light should fall on the keyboard and not the screen. If you are reading or writing on paper then light should fall on the page.

An ideal task light should be to one side with the bulb concealed from view. It is helpful to be able to adjust the height and direction of light, a feature of many modern desk lights.
